Annual report

The Isola Group consists of the parent company Isola Holding AS and subsidiaries in Norway and abroad. The Isola Group’s mission is to be the leading supplier of dampproofing and waterproofing products and solutions for the building industry. This means that, in addition to producing and selling products for roofs, walls, floors and grounds, the company also offers know-how in this field. The parent company finances the subsidiaries and also carries on letting activities.

Highlights 2006

• Heavy growth in the Norwegian economy for the third year running created an extremely high level of activities and resulted in increasing pressure on the building and construction market
• The Isola Group’s consolidated operating income increased by 11 %
• The gutter product area is showing very heavy growth
• The ratio of raw material costs in relation to turnover increased further in 2006
• Profit before tax was NOK 38.5 million against NOK 29.3 million in 2005
• A programme of improvements was initiated
