The Platon Factory opened in 1959 and was based on plastic sheet extrusion. This company invented and patented the "foundation wall membrane" in 1968 which is designed to protect cellars from moisture penetration. Products and systems relating to moisture protection in the building and construction sector are still responsible for this factory's main production activities. The company possesses sound experience in the fields of extrusion, thermoforming and injection moulding.

Norskerenna AS manufactures gutters, accessories and associated steel building products. This company aims to be a trade leader in respect of quality and design. It was established in 1956 as a tinsmiths and was purchased by the Isola group in 2000.

Røros Windows and Doors are manufactured by Røros Bruk which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Isola as. Røros Bruk was formed in 1971 and during the intervening years Røros Windows became established as a market leader of double-hung windows primarily designed for the holiday cottage and leisure markets. This factory is located right next to the railway station in Røros.

This factory is located in Brevik, approx. 10 km from Isola's head office. It manufactures glass felt which is used as one of the basic materials in our roof coverings and roof shingle products. It also manufactures gardeners' felt for greenhouses and the GRP felt that is used in polyester pipes, etc. The manufacture of bitumen products commenced here in 1943.
