Platon Double Drain

Platon Double Drain offers the most complete system for drainage and protection of the external basement wall. On the inside it provides mechanical protection for the waterproofing, and drains away any accidental water entries through its unique drainage channels against the wall. On the outside its high capacity drainage layer, protected by a filter fabric, ensures permanent high capacity drainage.

Application

Platon Double Drain protects the underlying waterproofing against damage from the backfill. The interior drainage channels reduce hydrostatic pressure on the waterproofing. The exterior drainage layer and a filter fabric provide permanent high capacity drainage. Platon Double Drain can also be used as an independent damp protection in combination with a drainage system along its lower edge.

Installation

Platon Double Drain is installed horizontally with filter fabric facing the backfill. It is fixed mechanically along the top edge using the Platon Cramp, which provides tear resistant fixing points. The Platon Moulding profile prevents accidental entry of soil and stones between the wall and Platon Double Drain, or into the drainage layer.
