Isola Bio-Ren
Isola Bio-Ren is a 100% environment-friendly spray product which removes unsightly green algae and kills moss. This product is ready-mixed and is sprayed directly onto unwanted growths.
Areas of application
Isola Bio-Ren can be used on all types of roofing materials, patios, walls, stone, wood and façades, etc. It does not damage the materials it is used on. If used correctly Isola Bio-Ren does not harm lawns or other garden plants. However, large quantities should not be sprayed directly onto plants.
Precautions
Remove any loose moss and leaves, etc. prior to treatment. To achieve the desired effect, the minimum temperature during application should be 10oC. It should not be used if there is a risk of night frost. Avoid strong sunlight and high surface temperatures during application (because of evaporation). Store Isola Bio-Ren in a frost-free place and out of the reach of children.
Application
Low-pressure spray is used for large areas. On smaller surfaces a standard spray bottle may be a more practical solution. Clean the bottle first if it has been used for other purposes. Ensure that the nozzles have been set to ensure that the fluid is spread evenly over the surface. No protective equipment is required when using Isola Bio-Ren. It is completely safe when inhaled or if it comes into contact with the skin. Any drops squirted directly into the eyes may cause a stinging sensation for a few seconds (like getting shampoo in one's eyes), and this can be relieved by rinsing with clean water.
Consumption
Isola Bio-Ren should be sprayed copiously on moss/green algae ensuring that they are well soaked. Moss should be treated at least twice. Allow 2-3 weeks to elapse between each treatment.
Secondary treatment
Isola Bio-Ren acts over a period of time. After the moss has turned brown the residue should be removed by the wind and rain. In some cases it may be necessary to remove residual moss by gently brushing it off or simply hosing down the surface with an ordinary garden hose. High-pressure hoses should not be used on roofs.
Equipment required:
- Low-pressure spray or spray bottle
- Brush for removing any residual growth. The stiffness of the brush and how vigorously one brushes should be considered in each individual case, with particular attention being paid to roofing materials.
- A garden hose for hosing, if necessary
This product has been developed and manufactured in Norway. The Bio-Ren container can be recycled.
