Platon Flexi for tiles

Uncoupling (separation)
Platon Flexi is designed as an uncoupling underlay for tiles and natural stone floor covering. The underlay separate and prevents the transfer of stresses to the tiled surface. Thus, a crack caused by movement in the substrate is neutralised. Cracks in the substrate are bridged and not transferred to the floor covering.
In addition Platon Flexi serves as water vapour pressure equalisation layer to distribute moisture occurring at the underside of the substrate.

Material

Platon Flexi is a polypropylene membrane with a specially designed studs, with an anchoring fibre fabric laminated to its underside and a fine grid mesh on the overside.

Platon Flexi is approximately 3 mm high.
