Isola D-Prosjekt

Isola D-Prosjekt is a type of diffusion-proof underlay used in connection with concrete roofing tiles and all types of lathed roofs where the primary roofing is to be laid immediately. This product consists of a glass felt core that has been impregnated and coated with bitumen on both sides. It also has PP felt on the upper side to facilitate anti-slip laying and something similar on the underside to prevent it from sliding when it is being laid. This felt also prevents the product from sticking to the sub-roof.

Rapid progress on the roof!

This light 30-metre long product can be laid quickly on a roof. It is stapled down in a zigzag pattern in the upper overlay section, c/c approx. 10 cm, using galvanised 2.8 x 25 mm felt staples. These are concealed in the overlay. The felt on the underside of the product facilitates rapid laying on the whole roof. NB: ties must be fitted immediately. Alternatively, the ties and laths can be laid as work progresses.
Isola Fugemasse (joint filler) should be used in connection with all details and joints.
