To achieve an maintain an optimal thermal insulation of the roof, the full height between the rafters should be used. The best solution will then be the direct application of the "underlayer" on top of the insulation and fixed to the rafters.
For this function the materiel has to satisfy certain quality requirements. Only complete waaterproof properties will protect the insulation from the external weather conditions and only high diffusion properties will prevent the condensing of rising moisture inside the insulation.

High diffusion

Accumulated daamp and moisture in the building will eventually find its way up into the roof construction. Condensation of moisture in the construction can only be prevented through a vapour open under-layer - allowing the moisture to pass through, keeping the roof dry.

The very high tear resitance of the materiel ensures an easy and safe application. Even if the hard roof covering gets damaged Isola Top 3 still maintains a diversion function that allows rain water to drain away down to the gutters at the eaves.

Three layers to cope with the highest demands

A spesial micro-porous polypropylene film, ensures the waterproof and breathing abilities of the underlayer. This micro porous film is covered on both sides with a highly tear resistant polypropylene felt giving the Isola Top 3 its high reliability on the roof.
